Quick Fixes:

  • Pancake batter got you down? Eric, our grower, recommends chopping Cinnamon Apples and combining with the batter for a fun, fruity pancake.
  • Trail Mix is quick and easy when you have Bare Fruit at your side. Just pick your favorite nuts, granola and Bare Fruit and mix it all together for a fun on-the-go snack.

Recipes:

Bare Fruit Bake-Dried Fruit and Sausage Stuffing

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup shallots
  • 4 cups (6-ounces) to inch pieces bread cubes
  • 1 cup chopped Bare Fruit Fuji Apple Chips
  • 1/4 pound pork maple sausage
  • 3/4 cup Bare Fruit Cherries
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon rubbed sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup apple or white grape juice

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 3500 F.
  • Heat oil in heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallots and saut 2 minutes. Stir in bread cubes, apple, sausage, cherries and seasonings; cook 1 minute, stirring until well blended. Remove from heat. Gradually add juice, stirring until lightly moistened. Turn into buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
  • Cover and bake for 45 minutes until heated through. Garnish with sprigs of fresh parsley.
  • Makes approximately 6 cups.

Banana, Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • cup butter
  • cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 1/3 cups mashed, overripe bananas
  • 1 cup Bare Fruit Bananas

Directions:

  • Preheat over to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten.
  • Arrange Bare Fruit Bananas in the bottom of the greased loaf pan. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake in preheated over for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes our clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes and then turn out onto a wire rack.

Fuji Apple Spinach Chicken Salad

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz - Chicken Breast (cut into strips)
  • 3 Cups - Baby Spinach
  • 4 to 6 - Cherry Tomatoes
  • 4 Rings – Sliced Red Onions
  • 1 oz – Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 to 2 Tbs – Crumbled Blue Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup – Bare Fruit Fuji Apple Chips

Directions:

  • Put salad fixings in bowl
  • Mix vinegar, water, & Stevia together
  • Pour over salad & toss to coat
  • Bake in preheated over for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes our clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes and then turn out onto a wire rack.
  • Enjoy!

Apple Cider Vinegar Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbs – Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tbs – Water
  • 3 to 4 Packets – Stevia Sweetener

BBQ Chicken Salad

Ingredients:

  • Mixed lettuce greens
  • Red onion, diced
  • Tomatoes, quartered
  • Bare Fruit apple chips
  • Extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • Sliced chicken, coated in BBQ sauce (hot or cold but cold is fabulous)
  • *Italian dressing (optional)

Directions:

  • Spread lettuce over a plate & then evenly spread red onion over the lettuce.
  • Add the tomatoes to the sides of the plate, BBQ chicken in the middle and then cheese on the sides.
  • Top with the Bare Fruit apple chips
  • Add an optional splash of Italian dressing

Quick & Easy Bare Fruit Cinnamon Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups barefruit cinnamon apple chips
  • 2 Cups warm water

Topping:

  • Mix together
  • 1 cup favorite granola
  • 1/2 unbleached white flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (none or less if granola is sweet).
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)

Directions:

  • Place apple chips into a glass deep dish pie plate or pyrex baking dish and cover with warm water. Cover plate and allow to set for approx 45 minutes or until water is absorbed (stir occasionally). A little wetness is OK.
  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Pour topping over apples. Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Serve topped with: Vanilla ice cream, yogurt or
    whip cream.

Combination of Bare Fruit Apple chips and white chocolate.

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz bag white chocolate chips (can also use white chocolate almond bark)
  • 2.2 oz bag Bare Fruit cinnamon apple chips, chopped into
    small pieces

Directions:

  • Melt white chocolate in microwave in 30 second increments and stir after each time until it is smooth.
  • Once smooth, add in the apple chips.
  • Stir well until mixed.
  • Pour onto waxed paper and allow to cool.
  • Once it is hardened, break into bite size pieces.
